Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa
Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa was a general and adviser to Augustus, the first emperor of Rome. Agrippa commanded the navy that helped defeat the forces of Mark Antony and Cleopatra at Actium in 31 bc. As one of Augustus’s most trusted allies and advisers, he was appointed consul three times and married the emperor’s daughter.
