Signing the Treaty
Witnesses watched the signing of the Treaty of Trianon in 1920 in Versailles, France. The treaty marked the formal closing of hostilities between Hungary and the Allies at the end of World War I (1914-1919). Most Hungarians resented the restrictions imposed by the pact and resisted its implementation.
